Is Solar an Alternative
With the world’s hot and war-ridden regions as well as other regions that have had their share of the consequences of problems, The issue of global warming remains a large part of global attention. Although all the world’s wars were due to the control of the energy extracted from the subsoil, the most important of which is oil, However, we cannot deny that these products were the cause of the widespread environmental disasters we are experiencing. As States attempt to delay the catastrophic effects of global warming, scientists and environmental experts offer alternatives that can be used to reduce the disaster.

The use of solar energy is one such attempt. Solar energy is one of the most powerful forms of energy on Earth. The sun produces sustainable energy that will last for billions of years. Solar energy reaches Earth in the form of solar radiation and is converted directly or indirectly into different forms of energy such as electricity and heat.

Although it is one of the primary sources of energy, it is not without some drawbacks, the most important of which are:
1. The Sun’s energy does not reach the entire Earth’s surface continuously and regularly, depending on time and separation throughout the year.
The need for large areas of land to be assembled.

However, solar energy remains distinct from other sources for many reasons, the most important of which are:
Solar energy is a renewable resource that will last for the next billion years.
Solar energy is perfectly clean compared to any other energy source such as oil or coal.
3. Solar energy is free. Compared to oil or coal, which we have to buy, using solar energy will cost much less than a start, and it will cost almost zero in the long run.
4. Multiple applications, in addition to obtaining electrical power through photovoltaics, solar energy can also be used as a heat generator used to heat water, which in turn can be used again to generate electricity.

But how can solar energy save the environment?
The shift to solar energy will help reduce our dependence on organic fuels, this in itself will greatly save and reduce hydrocarbons and emissions in the air, meaning that the air will become pure and clean, this in turn will have some cascading effects including global warming control, acid rain reduction, smog and the list goes on.
